The beautiful handmade Andromeda moor head has been created following the rules of the maiolica production - turning, drying, first firing, glazing, decoration and ageing - and hand-painted by our skilful artisan with big bold decorative grapes surrounding his crown.
With his 25cm of height, Andromeda on his own or placed alongside the male version in the range, Perseo, will make an amazing addition to any home or gardens.
The palette of our Andromeda, dominated by reds, blues, whites and bold designs will immediately bring vibes of Sicily in any indoor or outdoor setting. The purple grapes by the side of his crown symbolised an allegory of wealth. She is made with unique glazes that recalls the origins of the Moor world in which colours were produced by the fusion of kaolin-based glazes and represent the perfect showcase of the classic Italian ceramic of Caltagirone modelled by hand.
