Fine Prints and Art Papers

A classic style that never dates, Studio Medea fine art photography encompasses a well selected variety of exquisite photos. From sweeping landscapes to street and travel photography, you’ll find a subject and colour palette to complement every wall.

All our prints are shot by our co-founder Cinzia. She draws influence from the urban environment where she grew up, in the industrial suburbs of north Milan, Italy. Cinzia moved to Barcelona at the age of 22, where she was inspired by the colourful and vibrant city. This was a formative experience from which her work began to grow. 

All works are shot on film, Cinzia’s favourite media. Due to the imperfectness of the nature of these works, grain will be present and more so in larger prints. All works are scanned / reproduced at high resolution to reduce this as much as possible, but this is the nature of film and why here at Studio Medea we love it so much. All our photo collections are printed on Hahnemühle photo cotton rug 308gr, one of the world’s most popular fine art papers that produces outstanding prints with brilliant colours, deep blacks, striking contrasts and seamless colour graduations.

The cotton rag finish has a slight felt structure giving to the print an impressive depth. We specifically choose this paper for superb photographic image sharpness, consistency and the special touch and feel of a genuine fine art paper printing.
