The beautiful handmade Arianna moor head has been created following the rules of the maiolica production - turning, drying, first firing, glazing, decoration and ageing - and hand-painted by our skilful artisan with decorative lemons on the side of her crown in vibrant yellow and green colours.
With her 25cm of height, Arianna on her own or placed alongside the male version in the range, Teseo, will make an amazing addition to any home or gardens with her elegance and beauty.
The classic palette of our Arianna, dominated by yellows, green and big, bold designs exudes a sense of warmth and cheer that feel as if they could only exist in Sicily and will bring the bucolic vibes of the island in any indoor or outdoor setting. She is made with unique glazes that recalls the origins of the Moor world in which colours were produced by the fusion of kaolin-based glazes and represent the perfect showcase of the classic Italian ceramic of Caltagirone modelled by hand.
